My first semester in web design

I Learned
the Surprising Fun of Code
After trying codecademy and quitting AP Computer Science in high school, I thought I was done with coding. Freshman year, the New Media Institute intruged me, execpt the web design parts.
My mind was completely changed this semester. I found that working with code is rewarding. Creating something from nothing and understanding one of the most important skills in the digital world is exciting!

Project One

My first project. This is where I learned HTML. I took to it quickly, but wanted to do more. HTML is limiting, as it's designed! When it was through I was itching to incorporate more dyamic elements.
Bootstrap Triptych

This is where I learned how Bootstrap was able to transform a website and develop my web design skills. I created this site for the the band Lawrence, who was suppost to play in Athens March 17th.
Wordpress Variety Pack
→
A long time ago I created my own website and tried to use WordPress. I didn't get very far. But here in the Wordpress Variety Pack I actually learned the versatility and power of Wordpress through a personal news site and my newest business venture: Kombucha Rob
Final Project
→
This is where I finally made a site that I would be proud to have as the Worth Podcast homepage. I used Webflow's block system to design elements to my liking.
